Consistent quality, always reliable

This was my third order from Tesoro, and as usual, they didn't disappoint. I purchased a few faceted amethyst stones and some 18K parts. The quality is consistently excellent, which is why I keep coming back. My previous orders for aquamarine and pearl beads were just as good. They always package things well so nothing gets damaged. Delivery was also on time, as it has been every time before. It's great to have a go-to place for real gemstones and quality findings. Their selection of power stones is also great.

Good quality, delivery took a bit

I ordered a few loose garnet stones and some silver parts for a new project. The ordering process was pretty straightforward on the site. Hmm, I'm on the East Coast and it was closer to 2 weeks for me. Depends on customs maybe? I'd probably order it sooner rather than later if you have a deadline.

If I buy a bunch of loose stones and then decide I don't like one or two, can I return them? Or are natural stones usually final sale?

Returns for natural stones are usually a no-go from what I remember from their policies. It's a bit strict because of the nature of the product, like slight variations are expected.

Yeah, I think their policy says no returns or exchanges on natural stones unless it's like, damaged or something. So double-check before you buy if you're unsure.

Yeah, I've bought a bunch of stuff from them. Their stones seem legit to me, never had an issue. I even got a sapphire for a ring I made and it was beautiful.

They're real. I think their FAQs mention something about it being one of their core things. They don't have a physical store though, so it's all online.

how are Tesoro's prices and selection compared to Biz Stone or Kenkengems? Looking for some specific cabochons.

Tesoro has a much wider range of loose stones, especially unique cuts and types you don't always find elsewhere. Prices are pretty competitive, sometimes better on certain items during sales.

Biz Stone is good for basic stuff but Tesoro definitely has more unique options, especially if you're looking for something specific. Kenkengems is also solid but Tesoro feels more specialized for jewelers sometimes.
